I’m a Master of Social Work (MSW) student set to graduate in 2026, driven by a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with dignity, resilience, and hope. My passion lies in fostering meaningful connections, empowering clients to discover their strengths, and creating a safe, affirming space for growth and healing. Through my academic training and hands-on internship experience, I’m developing a strong foundation in clinical practice and evidence-based interventions. I aspire to become a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to making a lasting impact through compassionate, client-centered care. I’m motivated by purpose, guided by empathy, and continuously seeking opportunities to learn, grow, and serve within the field of social work.
As a Social Work Intern, I support students through restorative justice meetings, regular check-ins, home visits, and oversight of attendance for students with chronic absenteeism. I also connect students and their families to community resources and services to address academic, social, and personal needs. In this role, I work to build trust, foster accountability, and create a safe and supportive environment where students feel heard and empowered. This hands-on experience allows me to strengthen my skills in communication, relationship-building, and student-centered advocacy as I work toward becoming a licensed clinical social worker.
As a Mental Health Technician at Crestwood Behavioral Health, I provide compassionate, hands-on support to individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges. I work closely with an interdisciplinary team to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment where clients feel seen and supported. I assist with daily care, help clients develop coping and communication skills, and provide crisis intervention when needed. This role allows me to strengthen my ability to connect with others, practice empathy in action, and support clients on their journey toward healing and recovery.
