over a 27 year career in the industry I have drilled on, built, rebuilt and modified rigs and support equipment, and owned and run my own drilling operations. I have drilled holes in every state and territory in Australia and have been involved in projects in China, Tibet, Canada, Indonesia, Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia and Africa both as a driller and a contractor. My practical drilling experience covers: MINERAL EXPLORATION RAB and Aircore (up to 150m) Reverse Circulation (up to 300m with multiple compressors and boosted air systems) Diamond Coring (up to 2200m, NQ, HQ, PQ, triple tube, conventional coring, controlled direction and wedging. Casing advancer systems (odex hammers, rotary wireline) Truck, track and heliportable rigs. Both top drive and chuck drive. WATERWELLS Conventional hammer, Odex systems, dual rotary rigs, RC, DHH and Mud rotary drilling methods. Bores from 5 inch to 16 inch diameter for livestock, domestic supply, irrigation bores (up to 20 megalitres/day) and mine production. (residential, agriculture and mining) Have held licences in Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. GEOTECHNICAL Solid and hollow auger systems, DHH and Odex systems, Diamond and Conventional Coring, - Environmental sampling, Piezometer and inclinometer installations, stabilisation and drainage holes, rockbolts, anchors, earth stakes, foundation investigations for dam sites and highways.
