This area encompasses all investigative units within the Country & Cape and City & Torres Straits crime groups and the first response divisions within the Tablelands and Cassowary Coast patrol groups. These police comprise a team of skilled and experienced first response officers, investigators, intelligence officers, tactical crime squad officers and operational support specialists who all contribute to the safety of the community in the Far North District, one of the most geographically and demographically complex areas of the state.
