Michiel van Veelen

About

Michiel is a Dutch emergency physician currently employed as a researcher in mountain emergency medicine in Italy. He has a passion for prehospital/limited resource EM and bedside Ultrasound and co-founded Outdoor Medicine. He spent three years working in Botswana in hospital as well as in prehospital (aeromedical retrieval) environments. He is highly motivated to work clinically in unorthodox settings as well as in research, medical education and logistics of (pre)hospital emergency care.
