Identify, develop, negotiate and execute complex long-term structured energy transactions with embedded optionality in the New Energy/Emerging Commodities and if required in the Renewable Offtake space. Develop and negotiate partnership opportunities and explore business opportunities and offtake agreements in International Hydrogen and Hydrogen Product markets. Maximize the value associated with existing contracts and transaction portfolios. Engage in and add value to asset development/ hedging/ portfolio decision making processes. Develop and maintain relationships with traditional and non-traditional producers/customers to enable business via multiple commodities. Explore markets and promote new products in collaboration with other commodity desks, channel and distribute information and opportunities. Originate new - out-of-the box - marketing and trading opportunities with counterparties/clients to enlarge UNIPER’s playing field.
Executing sales in broadest sense at the applicable accounts within the Marketing & Sales objectives and policies set. The product portfolio comprises several product lines used broadly by many industrial customers in several markets. Main responsibilities: Establishing and maintaining appropriate customer relationship, Identifying sales opportunities and technical projects, managing sales related activities including account planning, negotiating price, providing timely and accurate demand forecast data for accounts, gathering and sharing intelligence on market, customers, competitors, supporting implementation of grade and/or product related changes, tracking business performance, interfacing with Global Marketing, Sales & Marketing Coordinators, Integrated Business Planning, Customer Service and Technical Marketing.
Developing, implementing and monitoring the progress of the yearly anhydrous ammonia, aqueous ammonia and nitric acid sales plan, in line with the business strategy. Ensuring and maintaining effective relations with existing and potential customers in Europe and ensuring realization of adequate financial processes and other after care issues (e.g. customer complaints, cash management). Participating in projects and executing business cases that contribute to the performance and effectiveness of the OCI Nitrogen ammonia business. Acquiring new business by detecting and following up business opportunities, preparing tenders and negotiating contracts and conditions for anhydrous ammonia, aqueous ammonia and nitric acid. Signaling and collecting relevant information on market developments and legislation, indicating new trends, in order to detect opportunities and threats for the ammonia business and anticipating adequately on them.
Managing pan European Ethylene and Propylene product flows by pipe and vessel from the SABIC cracker in the UK (approx 72KT yearly). Balancing product flows to secure an uninterrupted supply and demand process by making swaps, sales or purchases of product. Managing UK projects to stimulate communication, improving liquefaction output, and export capacity. Managing longterm partnerships with customers and suppliers. Monitoring stock levels of cracker products in cavities and liquid storage. Executing and monitoring contracts against agreed service levels, scheduling deliveries in cooperation with the customer/supplier. Nominating transport and surveyor services.
Implementing packaging contracts and ensuring contract compliance for all DSM business groups in Europe. Ensuring local acceptance of new contracts. Developing and managing relationships / partnerships with suppliers and tracking their performance. Implementing supplier development activities defined in the cross-functional review meetings with suppliers in order to improve performance and further reducing cost. Managing E-sourcing projects with Emptoris tool, being actively involved in the strategic Sourcing process as a member of the cross functional sourcing team. Pro-actively developing and tracking cost saving programs with packaging suppliers. Ensuring purchasing transactions (one-off’s & orders without a contract) and requisitioning for packaging category.
