Brands and their advertisements surround consumers in every aspect of their lives and it is from her very first exposure to the marketing world in her schooldays and the witnessing of how brands market themselves to consumers that grew Michelle’s interest and passion for marketing. Since then, she has aspired to work alongside teams that make such a lasting impact on every consumer’s experience. Currently, Michelle works alongside the team behind Disney’s movie marketing and distribution in Singapore, supporting and executing key marketing campaigns to maximize awareness for Disney’s upcoming theatrical releases and the many studio brands under Disney.
• Managed and executed direct email marketing campaigns - newsletters & promotional emails – using Oracle software to market products, build loyalty and strengthen brand awareness. • Managed and ran Facebook Advertising campaigns to effectively reach and target ideal consumers and ultimately, help increase conversion. • Wrote marketing and editorial copy to target and enhance the audience’s interest in the brand and its products. • Prepared and analysed marketing reports and devise new ways to market products to PEDRO’s target consumers. • Received and organized over 400 product samples each season to ensure timely product launches. • Prepared wardrobe and fitting for photoshoots. • Assisted team with day-to-day marketing tasks and support other ad-hoc duties as requested.
• Planned, coordinated and executed tactical campaigns - Chinese New Year Visual Merchandising Installation & 2017 Chinese New Year Online Campaign - and special events - Valentine's Day Online Campaign. • Liaised with over 250 retailers to coordinate and collate tactical campaign participation details. • Regularly managed communication platforms - website, mobile application, mall way finder & hotel in-room TV - to ensure retailer listings are accurate and up-to-date. • Conducted market and competitor studies to analyse the competitive retail industry and assist the team in better understanding the company's current market position.
