I am an experienced early childhood and primary educator with international teaching experience, having taught within the International Baccalaureate framework. My practice is grounded in inquiry-based, student-centred learning, where I foster curiosity, independence, and a genuine love of learning in young students. I specialise in inquiry based learning experiences that support diverse learners and encourage critical thinking. Through a strong understanding of child development, I create inclusive classroom environments where every student feels safe, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. Collaboration and reflection are central to my approach. I work closely with colleagues to plan, assess, and refine teaching practices, while maintaining strong partnerships with families to support each child’s growth both academically and emotionally. My experience in an international context has strengthened my cultural competence and commitment to developing globally minded learners who are respectful, open-minded, and engaged with the world around them.
Reggio Emilia–inspired, with a student-centred, inquiry-based approach to learning. I created engaging, play-based environments that foster curiosity, independence, and a strong sense of belonging. I built meaningful relationships with children and families through open communication and documentation of learning. Collaborative team member with strengths in curriculum development, implementation, classroom management, learning provocations, and supporting child development and assessment.
