As an API Tech Ops Process Technologist at AbbVie, I help transform scientific innovation into reliable large-scale production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. My work focuses on ensuring smooth technology transfers, process optimization, and compliance with the highest quality standards, all in support of AbbVie’s mission to improve patients’ lives. Before joining AbbVie, I pursued a PhD and postdoctoral research in pharmaceutical sciences, with a focus on designing and developing novel anticancer agents. This experience not only strengthened my scientific expertise but also sharpened my analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and cross-functional collaboration skills. What drives me at AbbVie is the opportunity to bridge rigorous science with technical operations, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes that make innovative therapies accessible to patients worldwide.
As a Process Technologist I contribute to turning cutting-edge science into reliable large-scale production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. My role sits at the intersection of science and operations, ensuring technology transfers run smoothly, processes are optimized, and the highest standards of quality and compliance are consistently met. Building on my background as a postdoctoral researcher in pharmaceutical sciences, I bring a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and scientific rigor to every challenge.
As a researcher in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, my work focused on drug design and the discovery of novel anticancer agents. My research included the design and synthesis of numerous molecules with different scaffolds, aimed at different biological targets. I had the chance to coordinate a chemistry laboratory, supervise undergraduate students, and manage different projects. This has given me the opportunity to develop leadership skills, capacities of team working and problem-solving abilities.
