At Nomagic Warsaw MIMotaurs we believe that everything is possible. 🦾 🤖 We assembled a team of 10 people who worked tirelessly to win the Mohammed Bin Zayed International Robotics Challenge. I was responsible for strategy, fundraising and general programming of anything that is needed. Finally, we were able to develop a swarm of drones that was capable of autonomous searching the maritime environment without using GPS. In the end were placed among the world's top 5 teams!
I was supporting Algorithms in Autonomous UAVs team at IDEAS research facility. My job was to consult on software architecture and collaborate with other teams, external partners and stakeholders to set the correct direction for the whole project.
In the newly created robotics lab at my faculty, I started research on autonomous drones. My area of interest was mostly related to computer vision, machine learning and highly efficient onboard computing. I was also heavily involved in building infrastructure needed for robotics and machine learning including storage services, labeling tools, ML trackers, etc.
I worked at Meta AI (former Facebook AI Research) on the Replay project. During my internship, I managed to reduce runtime of data processing pipeline to 1/8 of the original duration.
