Since 2007, I have been employed by the Jagiellonian Centre of Innovation (Jagiellońskie Centrum Innowacji), a company established by the Jagiellonian University to create a broadly understood business-environment in the field of life sciences. I have applied myself in many capacities in my role as director of the center. After the inception of the project, I prepared and conducted the entire investment process associated with the formation of a technology park that encompasses three buildings with a total of 100k m3. My primary responsibilities included fully coordinating all of the work connected with the project: starting with bidding procedures, to selecting designers and contractors, then supervising the preparation of project documentation and obtaining necessary building permits, to supervising the construction, and ultimately I was in the position to sign-off the contractors and accept the condition of the buildings from the general contractor upon completion. Thanks to my experience in communicating with various parties of the investment process, and an ability to resolve conflicts under a win-win principle, I work constructively as a leader, organizer, and collaborator in the scientific community. My ability to quickly learn and understand technical issues helps me to effectively problem-solve in a high-tech and fast-paced environment.
