I built Prometheus to connect the world’s most powerful family offices with each other — and with the opportunities that matter most. Before founding Prometheus, I was a hedge fund manager at Stevie Cohen's SAC Capital (now Point72), founding Principal at multi-billion dollar Tourbillon Capital, and later Managing Partner at Cypress Funds, one of the oldest hedge funds still in existence (founded by my partner Robert Day in 1969). Along the way, I was named one of Institutional Investor’s Hedge Fund Rising Stars and have been featured and quoted in leading outlets including Bloomberg, Forbes and Fortune.
By Invitation. For those who already move in rare circles. If you need to ask, it’s not for you.
My family office making public equity & venture investments
Co-Managing Partner with Robert A. Day, founder of TCW and patriarch of the Keck family, one of California’s original oil families (Superior Oil). Robert launched Cypress in 1969, making it one of the oldest funds still in existence. Cypress pursues an opportunistic strategy of concentrated, high-conviction equity investments across multiple geographies, focused on maximizing returns on both the long and short sides of the portfolio.
Global Long/Short Equity Low-Net Hedge Fund. Grew from scratch to $2bn by the time I left to run Cypress.
