Pollen (formerly named Verve) is an exciting startup company involved in innovative ways of marketing travel and events. Having acquired several companies resulting in an increasingly complex data landscape, Pollen are looking to create data pipeline solutions and data warehousing to enable more comprehensive, timely and insightful reporting of business information. I have been involved in developing ETL pipelines for pulling in data from a variety of disparate sources to AWS RDS, coding in Python and leveraging Apache Airflow. Key user of the data warehouse is the BI team using Looker and the data science team working on ML solutions. Latest project is building a new analytics data warehouse for BI and ML based on Snowflake technology.
