CoMac, as part of the CFT Group, is a leading Italian Company in automated systems for bottling, canning and kegging plants, established in the international market of beverages. As a sales Area manager not only do I have to interact with existing clients to promote and propose the most suitable solution, but I have also to hunt new markets and clients in area in which our solutions currently are not present. This involves studying the market, understanding the needs and requisites of this specific area and requires a set of abilities such as organizational, analytical, interpersonal as well as very good communicational skills. It is important to engage a high level of teamwork by leading, directing and inspiring the team to meet all the targets and deadlines. My areas of responsibility are central Europe (German speaking regions, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, and Romania), Baltic states and Scandinavian countries. Specifically, the new countries that were assigned to me in order to extend our market share are the United Kingdom and BeNeLux, which are fundamental markets for our business. These states are not only situated apart, but the cultural differences are significant. Therefore, I not only need a good understanding of the product, but I need to comprehend the local market and behaviour. The knowledge of the various languages is a big help for me in this step. In my job a strong territorial presence is required and achieved by visits to the clients, interaction with our locally based agents and presence during the main exhibitions that concern the beverage and packaging industry. Additionally, to the continuous research for new clients and potential projects, I prepare also offers and I collaborate with the technical department for the preparation of layouts and possible new technical solutions. I actively seek input from our customers to ensure consistent adherence to the service standard that we supply.
CoMac is a leading Italian Company in automated systems for bottling and kegging plants, established in the international market of beverages. As a Project Manager my main responsibility is to deliver the project, leading and managing of the project team from the kick off meeting with the client up to the final delivery and installation on site of the machinery. Since I have started working in Comac I have gained technical competences related to production machinery and also of the general process of the filling and preparation in the beverage industry. Additionally, I have acquired strong client relation skills, expertise in project management and developed experience with construction sites. The opportunity of visiting sites, plants and clients provided me also with the direct view of a development of a project onsite. My knowledge of different languages gives me the opportunity of managing projects in Mexico, Spain, Germany, France, Brazil and Unites States as well as in Korea and Australia. My main operation sites are in the Central and South America, due to the fact that these countries are fundamental regions for our growth and customers keep investing in these strategic markets. My studies in Chemical Engineer give me the possibility to have deeper discussions with technical departments of the company as well as to attend technical meetings with the client when the topics are about process and functionality of our lines.
