Within this role, I am assigned with the task of managing three IT teams, including InsightDx, Data Quality, and Reporting. These systems manage 25% of all incoming orders and all outgoing results for testing performed by BioReference. I am entrusted with defining new processes for COVID ordering and result delivery to streamline workflow. My duties are comprised of developing new result delivery methods to support notification of COVID test results to patients and state organizations. Some of my key achievements within this role till date are as follows: • Defined entirely new reporting methods for clients to track COVID results and completed them manually while the tech solutions were being built. • Increased high volume testing engagements during COVID by designing numerous functional enhancements. • Built new Data Quality team to address and resolve data issues for Elite Clients (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, etc.)
As a Product Manager, I was entrusted with managing all aspects of functional product management for internal and external facing test ordering / result application from Release planning and roadmap definition, Requirements gathering, Specification definition, UI / UX Wireframing, to Test Case Guidance. I was responsible for designing and implementing specimen calculator algorithm and field-based accessioning. A list of my key highlights is as follows: • Attained higher pay rate for Medicare claims by designing Medicare ABN workflow. • Designed/implemented Pre-accessioning process, as well as a Collection Guidance engine, which resulted in over $2M savings annually and allowed for higher testing volumes with fewer resources. • Designed and implemented a solution to use Disney Magic Bands for patient registration for NBA tournament whose success directly led to testing contracts with NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, etc.
