The credit card industry has been good to me. I have spent my career either working for the credit card companies or marketing to them. Along the way, I have built and worked with some amazing teams, identifying opportunities and solving problems. For example, regulators were not happy with the non-prime credit cards my bank was issuing. I wrote a business plan and designed a near-prime credit card product that would be profitable without the risk of holding a lot of receivables. Working collaboratively with a cross-functional team, we developed a decisioning engine and worked with an outside agency to drive traffic to our new website The new product was profitable within the year. And it passed all regulatory audits. Being part of a team that is driven to make an impact on the projects the team is working on is very important to me. I enjoy building relationships and gaining an understanding of partner objectives, then helping my team and partners exceed their goals.
