New things have always fascinated me, technology of any type draws my interest. As a result I’ve spent most of my career working with scientists and engineers to provide them with the support that they need to do what they do best. I’ve risen through the ranks of finance and management by being a team player that focuses on what the company needs to succeed. Helping them to devise a strategy to get there and most importantly getting the work done to put the plan into action. Working in small, growing organizations has allowed me to go beyond my financial training to gain experience in all aspects of the support systems and management that a company needs to function. During this experience I've implemented new accounting systems, evaluated and installed IT platforms, leased and built out new lab and office space, doubled our staff and been on both sides of the acquisition process. All as part of a team working toward the successful implementation of a strategic plan. I'm always open to learn new ways of doing things in particular those related to science and technology so if you want to pass some information along Let me know, I'm eager to learn.
