Motivation: In 2009 I lost my father to lung cancer most likely due to his living within walking distance of a coal-fired power plant most of his life. After researching to find the root cause of his death, I realized my father is one of 9,000,000 people globally who die pre-maturely due to fossil fuel air pollution every year. It was at that point I decided to make it my mission to use my finance background to help the world decarbonize the energy system. Since then I have supported over US$30 billion of power and infrastructure deals in more than 20 countries.
