AI is no longer constrained by algorithms - it is constrained by infrastructure. I work at the intersection of AI, energy, and large-scale infrastructure, focused on delivering the power and systems required to scale the next generation of compute, data centers, and industrial systems. I currently serve as President of Tokamak Energy, where I lead commercialization, partnerships, and market development for fusion energy and high-temperature superconducting technologies in the US. My work centers on translating breakthrough science into deployable systems, with applications spanning data centers, directed energy weapons, space, and high-speed rail. Across my career, I have focused on scaling emerging technologies from concept to deployment - aligning technology, capital, policy, and infrastructure to enable real-world adoption. This includes leading the development of utility-scale hydrogen, solar, and microgrid projects; advising on energy transition strategy, M&A, and infrastructure investment; and working closely with the Department of Energy, utilities, hyperscalers, and private capital to bring new technologies into operation. I have also been directly involved in capital formation and strategic finance, including Avina Clean Hydrogen’s Series A, Tokamak Energy’s Series C, and advising Bowman through its IPO. These experiences have further shaped my perspective on how emerging technologies scale - not just technically, but through capital markets, investor alignment, and financing structures. I serve on the board of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, one of the largest engineering research organizations in the US, advancing next-generation energy systems and strengthening the pipeline from research to large-scale deployment. As AI infrastructure scales into a multi-trillion-dollar buildout, the ability to secure and deploy power is becoming a primary determinant of competitive advantage. Increasingly, my work centers on a core question: how do we deliver reliable, high-density power at the scale required for AI, for space exploration, for the future? I am particularly interested in the convergence of AI infrastructure and energy systems, including data center power, advanced energy technologies (fusion, nuclear, hydrogen), grid constraints, and venture and corporate investment in deep tech. I bring a combination of technical depth (Doctor of Engineering Science, Columbia University), commercial execution, and a systems-level perspective on scaling emerging technologies across infrastructure, policy, and markets.
Lead US strategy, commercialization, and partnerships for a fusion energy company advancing high-density power solutions for AI data centers, defense, space, and industrial systems. Helped drive Tokamak Energy’s $125M Series C financing, shaping investor narrative and positioning the company at the intersection of AI infrastructure, power demand, and advanced energy systems. Developed a first of a kind $52M US-UK public-private partnership with the US Department of Energy and the UK Department of Energy Security and Net Zero to upgrade Tokamak Energy's ST40 tokamak and accelerate the path to commercial fusion. Drive engagement with hyperscalers, utilities, investors, and government stakeholders to enable next-generation infrastructure, including participation in DOE-backed Milestone Program and Texas Consortium for Fusion Energy.
Led development and execution of Avina’s green hydrogen facility in Vernon, California—now complete—one of the largest integrated electrolytic hydrogen production and refueling sites in the US, supplying clean fuel to heavy-duty transport near the Port of Long Beach. Negotiate PPAs and VPPAs, and develop 1 GW+ of electrolysis and ammonia plants in Texas and Illinois. Supported capital formation, including Avina’s Series A financing.
