My role as a junior engineer at Stantec is to assist senior engineers and project managers with overcoming technical challenges in the mining industry. We take pride in providing innovative solutions that balance production goals with the requirements of good stewardship, environmental sustainability, and regulatory requirements. My internship with the Shelly Company allowed me to explore all areas of aggregate production. There was a set structure to my internship which allowed me to learn from professionals at various locations. Over the course of four months, I spent time working and learning within Quality Control, Site Operations, and Sales at five different locations throughout Northeast Ohio.
