I founded the charity 'You're Simply the Best' and started the campaign #JusticeForJean after my mum was tragically killed in Greece. In order to financially support the charity, I utilised my performance and creative experience to explore fundraising ideas. This led me to write and produce a series of stage shows, which took place in Mansfield and London. These shows helped raise awareness and funds for legal fees as well as becoming a platform to connect others who were suffering a similar situation. At Briden I managed the damage-to-property and subsidence insurance claims from start to completion, and ensured that the company met the individual insurer’s Service Level Agreements. My focus area was on four of Briden’s stakeholders; coordinating their clients’ claims to ensure repairs and works were completed in a timely manner and with minimal disruption. My responsibilities included • Liaising with insurance companies and policy holders, through email, phone and bespoke online portals • Organising the initial surveys • Booking and scheduling the repairs, and updating each insurers’ online portals • Managing Briden’s email inboxes and allocating work to other coordinators • Communicating job specifications, requirements and materials needed to the construction workers, decorators and specialists to ensure Briden’s high standards were met • Notifying the accounts department of all costs associated with a job • Issuing clients’ excess insurance charges
