Global Cloud ERP Architect/ Manager of Offshore ERP Engineer Capability Offshore Enablement - Built an offshore capability of 8 Cloud ERP Engineers that deploy (install&config components + infra.) and manage ERP implementations on a global scale. Introducing this new capability to our customer engagements in an effort to increase margins and standardize environment deployment strategies across our Global ERP practice. Technical Architect - Architected a state of the art private cloud & automated provisioning system for Avanade's internal (sales/development/pre-production) ERP environments. Able to automatically provision non-prod environments in approx. 6 hours that are fully tailored with custom IP from our ISV partners and Avanade. Cloud ERP- Member of a 3-man Global CoP Team that serves as a liaison between Avanade implementation teams and our Cloud ERP Hosting partner. Ensuring proper infrastructure sizing and smooth sailing of all technical deployment issues. Responsible for evaluating Microsoft Azure's readiness for AX hosting. AX Retail - I am very passionate about Retail deployments and hold great knowledge of all retail-specific AX components and understand how they interact with each other. Attended Microsoft's AX 2012 Retail Technical Workshop in Bellevue, WA during Feb 2014. Architected and deployed several proof of concept R3 Retail environments for customers and prospective engagements.
Recruited internally to join Avanade’s Global ERP Team, a group of 5 who strives to develop, enhance and support ERP offerings across the 20 countries in Avanade’s ERP practice. Leading an initiative to establish best practices for efficient, cost-effective deployment of ERP systems tailored for various industries/sectors including Professional Services, Manufacturing, Retail, and Utilities(Energy). Works closely with Avanade’s ISV and cloud partners to enhance our offerings and support customer implementations from a technical POV. Frequent tasks include: Code Deployment, Upgrade Analysis, Data Migration, Client/Server Installation & Configuration, and Performance Tuning.
Technical Dynamics AX Consultant, Americas ERP Service Line Member of Infrastructure Team that is accountable for installation, configuration, data migration and support of AX Implementations. Streamlined standards and processes in Avanade’s DAX environment lab; providing greater value and increased transparency to pre-sales and development teams in the Americas ERP SL.
Functional Dynamics AX Consultant, Americas ERP Service Line. Worked with a team to develop, customize, and implement a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 system. The project included the development of a process workflow and supporting documentation. Also assisted in gathering and fine tuning high level system requirements and implementing the finance portion of the clients' install. Other assignments included assisting with the evaluation and selection of ISV solutions enabling ERP mobility.
Member of "tools team" responsible for transitioning from a custom service request application written in Lotus Notes to a new web-based utility using the IBM Clear Quest suite. Responsibilities included developing training documentation, test cases, assisting with user acceptance testing and conducting on-site training. Other assignments included testing for transition to Windows 7 and recommending enhancements to CIO website. Gained experience in ITM change management process, SOX Compliance, and business relationships with supplier partners. Internship concluded with oral/slide presentation of accomplishments to CIO.
