TPM for the buildout of AWS Billing services in new air-gapped regions, feature parity across existing air-gapped regions, and region build automation for all regions. Reduced buildout time from over a year previously to four months by driving adoption of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
Improved the cost-effectiveness of cloud-use across Stripe's compute, data, and development platforms, by running programs to reduce cost per transaction by 20%, and by streamlining FinOps posture to enable better prediction of spend and utilization. Also managed large business-driven scaling/de-scaling events including Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
Managed programs to improve load balancing capacity management, ensure prudent growth of our infrastructure spend in line with business growth, and minimize cost. Drove alignment of Load Balancing work and infrastructure with customer demand, and with the work of other organizations including Infrastructure Delivery, Core Networking, and external vendors. Also managed large event scaling and operations, including AWS support for Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and major Amazon Video events. Application Networking, VPC Endpoints (PrivateLink): Drove programs to manage onboarding of over 200 AWS services to VPC endpoints, use of security profiles and IPv6 adoption. Prioritized and planned work to expand VPC endpoint coverage and support internal partners/customers in order to best meet the requirements of key customers.
