Since establishing Links, our business has grown organically with long standing clients, as well as building new relationships with innovative specialist companies across the globe. My role is a combination of internal leadership and management of our specialist team, along with maintaining and developing new and existing clients and candidates. Both my business partner and myself maintain an active hands on approach, remaining fully immersed within the day to day activities. A crucial part of this is maintaining and growing industry connections, working in partnership to help fulfil our customers business and career aspirations. As a team we are proud of the results that we deliver, having cut our teeth within the highly competitive UK market before applying our approach within new markets across the world. Links was established by myself and business partner in 2011 to innovate and push the boundaries within the specialist Life Sciences recruitment sector. Previously, I had spent a stimulating 14 years working within the Pharmaceutical Industry, with 11 of those years spent in management and leadership positions. As a result, I fully understand the significant challenges, pressures and complexities of finding and recruiting the best people. Since working within the specialist Pharmaceutical sector I have brought on and developed a significant number of key clients, as well as placing a large number of candidates at all levels within the industry, up to Executive/Board level. My career and network in the pharmaceutical sector has giving me a clear insight into the inner workings of the industry. Links was formed by drawing upon the expertise of senior industry experts within HR, recruitment and Commercial -thus providing a perfect opportunity for the establishment and creation of a new way forward. From our knowledge and experience it became abundantly clear that there was a real need for a more sophisticated and smarter recruitment model.
