Working with children is my favorite thing to do. I've worked as a learning assistant, taught swimming, been an instructor at numerous summer camps for kids, and I’ve also led a scout troop. Now I'm lucky enough to be the librarian at the British International School of Stockholm. I'm managing resources, pushing literacy, promoting reading and leading library sessions for older primary students. I'm also leading sessions on referencing and research for our IB students. From 2020 to 2025, I was sustainability leader at the BISS Ekeby site - responsible for driving and developing sustainability and environmental awareness. From August 2025, I am working in our school marketing deparment - documenting events, editing videos and posting on our social media.
Weekend seminar focused on children who are in some way disadvantaged; 15-20 participants. In charge of promotion, mailing, booking guests, materials, catering, organization of event itself.
One-on-one assistant for school day (1:1 or in-class work); attending therapy sessions and after-school activities.
In charge of website updates, Czech to English translations, emailing clients, and creating basic fliers in Pages.
I taught kids of all ages and skills: the oldest required the perfection of existent stroke skills, for the youngest I was the person to play and splash around with. I also worked with handicapped children.
