Lead HSE role on $2bn Greenfield construction project in NPCC Yard, Abu Dhabi. Duties includes managing HSE team to oversee Contractor HSE-related issues associated with fabricating, delivering, & installing & commissioning offshore central super-complex consisting of 100,000 tonnes of 5 production modules, sub-sea cables & pipelines. ● Managing HSE team to deliver project based HSE activities, and guidance on reactive issues in line with Client's requirements to achieve project deliverables and injury-free and profitable project completion.

• Responsible for the overall supervision and management of HSE during EPC project executed at multiple locations. • Supervise and manage EPC contractor and subcontractors on behalf of the owner to ensure compliance with Company and project-specific HSE requirements. • Manage a team HSE Engineers and Site HSE Specialists distributed across the various project sites. • Functionally supervise Contractor and Subcontractor HSE staff and ensure compliance with requirements of the contract. • Prepare/ Review/Approve HSE plans and procedures and monitor implementation through regular audits.
• Managed team of HSE & Security staff for onshore fabrication yards in UAE & KSA involving 4000 employees working in oil & gas projects for all major Clients in Caspian, ME & India. Promoted three times during tenure at company. • Responsible for planning, tracking and delivering on HSES management duties including development of high profile safety initiatives and campaigns and behavioural safety programme. Achieved best ever HSE KPI performance in 2014. • Allocated as global Serious Incident Investigation Lead for major incidents, and delivered serious incident investigation training programme for senior project team participants. • Co-ordinated and tracked risk management process for multiple Client projects including HAZID, Readiness Reviews, risk assessments and daily hazard identification programmes. • Maintained HSES management standards via external and internal audit programmes and co-ordinated progress via Activity Plans and live tracking registers. Jebel Ali Facility was first to achieve Gold Standard on internal global HSE audit programme. • Delivered presentations and reports to all major Clients and stakeholders including OPITO, BP, Exxon, Shell, Maersk, Saudi Aramco, ADMA, QP etc.
• Successfully managed offshore HSES team for all activities linked to fleet of heavy lift barges, dive vessels and support vessels with work scope including pipe lay, construction, hook up and dive operations in ME & India. • Developed 3rd Party vessel tracking registry to assess and monitor HSE performance standards amongst sub-contract vessels. An initiative that was presented and promoted as a global company objective. • Co-ordinated and implemented project-related risk management process between company and Clients including ensuring relevant project HSES and bridging documents aligned and approved.
• Acted as HSE Lead and successfully delivered on several significant projects including $1bn RasGas Project in Qatar and $1bn Saudi Aramco project in KSA. Duties addressed all HSE-related issues associated with fabricating, delivering & installing sub-sea cables, gas pipelines, jackets and decks, including travel offshore to co-ordinate hook-up work in Qatar & KSA. • Successfully planned, maintained and updated approved suite of project HSE documents. Co-ordinated risk management process from HAZID sessions and Readiness Reviews to implementation of risk assessments on close out of action tracking registries. • Managed the effective interface of all project based activity plans and audit programmes, and provided lead duties and guidance on reactive issues in line with Clients expectations to achieve project deliverables and achieve successful and profitable project completion.
• Successfully maintained QHSE management system for UAE & Qatar business of 4000+ employees, including oil & gas projects for Shell, SBM, and Talisman. • Improved and delivered on range of HSE Plans including reactive incidents with team of 15 HSE Advisors. Included successful co-ordination of Project delivery associated with multiple projects. • Managed all aspects of maintaining and delivering on Clients expectations with a team of 15 QA/QC Inspectors on; (i) QA documents, & (ii) QC issues including DNV, ABS certification.
