Michael van Schaik is the head of Employment and Remuneration Services practice at Moore Stephens in Melbourne. Prior to joining Moore Stephens he was a key player in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia and UK ERS practices. On returning to Australia in 2003 he established the company International Mobility Pty Ltd, where he provided strategic tax and international human resource consulting services for companies and individuals moving to or from Australia. Michael has over 20 years of expertise in taxation and international human resources, and specializes in advising organizations on international assignments including: - Global expatriate taxation planning, social security planning and consulting; - International assignment policy design and implementation; - Superannuation planning to and from Australia; - Expertise in team leadership, change of management and the implementation of various projects.
