I am a litigator and trial lawyer handling complex commercial, finance, real estate, and banking disputes. I represent businesses, including Fortune 100 and 500 companies, leading financial institutions, and loan servicing companies in an array of high value and sophisticated litigation matters. I litigate business disputes in both state and federal court, collaborating with clients to develop and refine individualized litigation strategies, and seeking to help clients define and pursue their legal and business objectives. In my practice, I have resolved an array of complex legal matters involving breaches of contract, payment disputes, business interference, fraud, shareholder and partner disputes, civil theft, judgment enforcement, lender liability, commercial and residential foreclosure, consumer finance disputes, commercial and residential evictions, and other claims. I have served as a member of The Florida Bar Code and Rules of Evidence Committee, including as a Committee Secretary and Vice Chair of the Legislative Relations Committee. I have also served on the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's Banking and Finance Committee, and was a director of the charitable tennis organization First Serve Miami. I am a member of The Florida Bar, American Bar Association, and Dade County Bar Association and have served as a mentor on the Dade County Bar Association's Minority Bar Passage Program. I have also been a member of The Florida Bar Business Law Section, Florida Association for Women Lawyers - Miami-Dade Chapter, and Cuban American Bar Association. I actively volunteer as an attorney ad litem for children in Florida's foster care system. I was elected a 2010 Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers.
