Competent Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 16 years’ experience working mainly under the NEC 2 and 3 forms of contract on a variety of Rail, Utility & Nuclear projects for main Contractors. Also Client and Client facing experience. My role as Commercial Manager allows me to get involved with all aspects of the Company and keeps me in touch with the day to day activities on our construction sites. With 16 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for Main Contractors, Clients and Consultants, Hollingsworth Bros offered me the opportunity to influence the commercial aspects of a family run Civil Engineering Contractor. My role at Hollingsworth Bros is varied which makes every day exciting and challenging, for example I could be on site attending a weekly meeting in Holyhead in the morning and then reviewing a tender submission in the afternoon.
