I work side by side with engineers - starting from the design concept, through the building of prototypes, and testing the prototype units to customer specifications. This includes testing the lasers to meet MIL SPEC Thermal and Vibration conditions. I designed my own spreadsheet to organize, track and maintain inventory for laser prototype builds.
Developed opto-mechanical assembly processes for IRCM and Fiber lasers.
Specialized in: FLIR Systems Intermediate Maintenance. Conducted troubleshooting efforts and repairs of: Laser Transmitters, Forward Looking Infrared Receivers, Laser Receivers, Cryogenic Subsystems, and Turret Stabilized Platforms with the use of an Electro Optical Systems Test Bench.
