About

Michael Sloan is a 30 year experienced organizational leader and IT professional with extensive global and international experience who has led large scale transformational programs, change and culture development initiatives, delivered technology implementations to close business capability gaps with common processes and tools and led large-scale divestiture programs. From November 2019 to October 2020 Michael carried out the CIO role at Delphi Technologies and led the team through a $5b divestiture to BorgWarner and established a multi-year IT stabilization investment plan. Prior to the CIO role, Michael was based out of Bucharest Romania and was responsible for the start-up and ongoing operations of the newly established Global Shared Services IT Organization and the Global Divestiture Team. Between 2015-2017, Michael held the IT Executive Director role responsible for business facing support across the Delphi Corporate Functions. In this role, Michael led a global team focused on identifying and closing business capability gaps with new technologies, enterprise projects and transformation programs. Michael has a passion for developing future leaders with the objective of building strong progression and succession plans through employee development and satisfaction. Michael earned his bachelor’s of science degree in human resources from Oakland University and his masters in business administration from Michigan State University (EMBA).
