I have been in the Fire/Rescue/EMS service for 48years, retired in May 2025 as Fire Chief/Administrator of the Orland Fire Protection District. we achieved a ISO1 and Internationally Accredited under my Command, married to Kathy 42 years, 6 children Nicole, Stephanie, Michael retired from the NFL after 10 years as an Offensive Lineman Andrew a firefighter Kathleen, Jackie. 5 Grandchildren I have lived in Orland Park for over 50 years, and I am committed to continuing to make Orland a great place to raise a family. I work on educating young people on making good decisions, our "​In the Blink of an eye" program is a gateway to educating young kids, my children are very involved with this program, and I am trying to bring others, some information that is tough to hear, but tough love and the involvement of a community makes the difference. I think it is important for my children to be involved, your children learn by the example of their parents, it is better to be proactive as a parent than reactive. I am completed my third term as President of MABAS 19, as chief in Orland this year we have maintained our ISO Class 1 rating and reaccredited.
