- Design, develop, and maintain system software to enable efficient DevOps pipelines and automation. - Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and Ansible. - Implement system monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Dynatrace) for proactive issue detection. - Automate processes to improve system efficiency, scalability, and reliability. - Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows. - Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). - Integrate security best practices into DevOps processes to ensure compliance. - Troubleshoot and resolve system failures, performance issues, and incidents. - Document system configurations, processes, and DevOps best practices. - Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new tools and technologies.
• Monitoring Vodafone’s Enterprise Web Applications and taking appropriate actions incase of any service outage or performance degradation abiding by ITIL standards. • UNIX/Linux Administration (System Configuration, File System Management,Startup/Shutdown processes, User/Group Administration, Environment variables) • Maintaining the availability of the applications and their hosted servers (on bothWindows & Linux/UNIX platforms) by performing all possible troubleshootingaccording to the SLA) • Managing all system components including Apache, IIS, Tomcat and WebLogic • Troubleshooting & fixing both Oracle & Microsoft SQL Server database related issues,and investigating issues with schema objects, architecture and database storage. • Executing standard requests for database operations such as backup, recovery andDatabase restore. • Updating technical documentation and our team’s knowledge base, and utilizing it tosolve incidents and problems. • Coordinating various Vodafone projects (such as service go-live, data migration,clean-ups, service decommissioning, etc..) ensuring smooth abidance bypredetermined project timelines.
