As an accomplished professional in inventory management, I've honed my skills in overseeing warehouse stock and executing order fulfillment. My knack for strategic planning has empowered me to enhance inventory control systems significantly. I'm adept at performing in-depth root cause analysis to rectify shipping and compliance issues. My experience with WMS systems, whether customer-operated or our own, allows me to maintain accurate and consistent inventory records. In this role, my foremost responsibility was ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all outbound products, in alignment with specific customer requirements. This involves a comprehensive audit of warehouse operators across a spectrum of functions, including but not limited to, Unloading, Pick Replenishment, Order Picking, & Pallet Wrapping These audits, meticulously documented in Excel, provided crucial data to key WOW Personnel, promoting efficiency and quality assurance across operations. Further, my role requires adept management of situations demanding continuous follow-up, such as instances of inbound damaged goods or substandard performance during Operator audits.
I operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting customer products in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, productivity and accuracy.
I was promoted to this position in order to delegate floor tasks to associates, such as which orders they picked, and which customers they loaded up. I also maintained a dialogue with higher management in regards to supply requests, training requests, and inventory management.
Started out unloading containers, then moved on to picking and dock loading. I eventually learned to drive both the forklift & reach truck here, which I used to great effect with pallet placement & organization, on top of picking orders, dock loading, receiving, and inventory management. All of which required the consistent usage of tablet computers to keep inventory up-to-date in real-time.
-Completed a variety of jobs for various companies, much of which involved picking, shipping, unloading & receiving container shipments, disinfecting food products, and Q&A testing.
