Dealing with problem reports, design using Autocad & Siemens NX
Initially engaged as an Electrician I was then promoted in to the role of Electrical Supervisor. Responsibilities included; • Supervision of all aspects of electrical and AC/DC installation for a team of Electricians • Installation of equipment such as charging systems, propulsion, dynamic positioning, air-con systems • Testing and commissioning electrical systems • Fitting out of the ships wheelhouse , funnel and exterior helm • Fitting of cable tray work • Running of cabling
• Supervision of all aspects of electrical, (AC/DC) electronic and mechanical work. • Commissioning / Fault finding • Planning work and scheduling of resources to ensure yachts are completed to a high standard within timescales and budget • Training and development of 10 engineers (to include apprentices) in electrical, electronic and mechanical skills. Liaising with local training providers with regards to apprentices • Customer and supplier liaison • Supporting and developing new product ideas • Providing hands on support where required
• GRP Laminators Quality/repairs/moulding works for clients. • Installing/repairing/servicing of engineering - electrical systems for clients, within budget and on time.
