As the Mechanical Engineering SME I manage a fantastic team of engineers and along with a cutting edge in-house machine shop we support the production of class leading products with custom tooling, fixtures, dimensional analysis and DFMA reviews.
Design, document, procure and assemble tooling for PCBA ruggedization, mechanical assembly or automated production Perform and analyze tolerance stack-up, make recommendations to increase production yield Troubleshoot and improve process steps to reduce opportunities for error or product damage
At FlowBelow I managed the engineering team responsible for OEM product support. My team coordinated and interfaced with key OEM customers on new product development and design. We quoted new designs and recommend durability improvements and cost savings. I participated in these duties and delegated design responsibilities as needed.
Developed and managed new internal branded products Drove new processes and procedures for design launch Acted as liaison to OEM customers for product support Designed and created manufacturing tooling and prototype parts Coordinated with new and existing suppliers to build prototypes, launch new products and reduce cost
As a project engineer for Kenworth Truck Co not only did I develop and create prototypes for new chassis fairing systems I also lead design projects for warranty reduction and process improvements.
As the Technical Training Manager I was responsible for developing and managing the technical training at Kenworth Truck Co. for the Engineers.
