Michael is an SAP Finance Senior Manager in the Deloitte Ireland Enterprise Technology & Performance (ET&P) SAP team. With over 25 years of SAP & Business Process experience evenly spread between Consulting and Industry across Beverage, Oil & Gas Secondary Distribution, IT Networks, Enterprise IT & Services, Public Sector Healthcare, Global Integrated Container Logistics, Life Sciences Med Tech, Research & Diagnostics, Healthcare Services and Building Materials sectors. He has delivered in a variety of SAP FI/CO centric Lead roles on multiple large implementations, rollouts & company separations, with a strong emphasis on Finance integration including Intercompany & Revenue processes. His most recent roles have been as a Finance Lead on a Greenfield S/4 OP 2023 implementation and RAR QA Advisory. Prior to that he was RAR SME Lead on a number of S/4 OP 2021 projects and Core Finance Lead on a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA OP 1909 implementation, and before that he was the SAP RAR Worldwide Lead for a client's New Revenue Standard project (IFRS15/ASC606). RAR SME Advisory role on this client's SAP RAR implementation project on single ECC6 system as a prerequisite to their S/4HANA Conversion project. Deloitte are not the SI. Initially task was to help revise their Testing & rollout plans along with providing best & leading practice expertise including Design inputs. My role evolved into a broader one partnering with the Corporate Revenue Group team to support them with RAR Migration preparation, validation approach & validations while also helping them and the SI with analysis & solutions for the rollout of 40+ entities across the globe.

SAP RAR Worldwide Lead for DXC on HPE's New Revenue Standard (IFRS15/ASC606) challenging 2 year program/project which went live on Nov 1st 2018, comprising of 7 sending/source SAP SD RAR components & 1 receiving/target SAP RAR component/engine with extensive enhancements & utility programs to address the many gaps & limitations with the standard product and HPE specific requirements. My lead role included solution architecture, functional/technical design solutions, supporting fellow Functional & ABAP subject matter experts on both solutions and troubleshooting/root cause analysis from prototyping, development through testing, move to production & warranty.
