Formulating & implementing Business strategy for newly-merged entity including a five year Business Unit strategy which includes Laboratory & Manufacturing Automation. Provides business relationship management and service delivery for Alkermes’ operations sites. Develops business cases for new technology investments. Builds and maintains strong relationships with Heads of Business to ensure that IT Service is globally aligned with their needs, leading to a strong track record in service delivery.
Completed IT separation from parent company when Elan was acquired by Alkermes. Managed integration to a new merged entity, with responsibility for wide range of programmes including a significant change programme. Developed IT Strategy for development of Business Unit growth. Active member and contributor to the Business Unit Management team.
Responsible for daily operations, strategic direction of both the Learning & Development and Information Technology Departments within Elan.
Responsible for the services provided by the IT Department for the Elan Athlone site. Covering all aspects of the service including strategic planning.
Responsible for the management of the I&O team and services across the Elan European offices.
