Establishing and deploying a Configuration Management Framework into the Salam Programme in line with Company requirements. • Managing the configuration of all Salam products & services including aircraft, support, training, facilities and manpower. • Production and maintenance of supporting procedures including management plans, procedures and assurance documentation. • Establishing and updating Product, Service and Contractual baselines and issuing quarterly reports. • Production of a monthly set of configuration management metrics for the Programme Reviews • Chairing the Salam Change Progression Meetings ensuring all decisions are documented and a clear auditable trail established and policing of the actions and decisions log. • Stakeholder management across all Project teams in Riyadh, Taif and the main supplier base in the UK. • Set up and Lead CM Practitioner for the Engineering Function’s CM Community of Practice across all programmes in KSA. • Educating, teaching, leading Saudi Nationals in all aspects of Configuration Management.
•Capability Manager Identifying, developing and delivering engineering capability into the Typhoon Configuration Management Team in terms of process, toolset, technology, facilities and IT. •Governance Manager ensuring application and compliance of all Typhoon Configuration Management processes and procedures across BAE Systems. •Defining, agreeing and delivering, four partner company Configuration Management requirements through regular meetings at European based industry locations.
• Managed all Configuration Management aspects of the Typhoon Aircraft Support Programme products and deliverables including the Configuration Management capability within the Support organisation • Managed the implementation of Teamcenter PLM into the Configuration Management team and wider business areas. • Operated as the Quality Controller for the Configuration Management Team and chaired the Quality Management Reviews.
Managed a team of Status Accounting specialists responsible for producing Major Unit and aircraft level Design Standard and Design Build Standards to support handover, engine ground runs, flight and delivery of Typhoon aircraft to the UK Customer. • Managed a Technical Integration team defining the retrofit programme for aircraft returned to Industry for upgrade. • Responsible for a data management service to the Configuration Management Team.
