Given the challenges of today's economy, a number of building owners and managers are turning to Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) to help them implement energy conservation measures on an Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) or shared-savings basis. For many, ESCO services are a new and complex contractual arrangement. My goal is to help building owners navigate the EPC process as an Owner's Consultant, representing their interests as they explore and contract energy conservation products and services. I am a seasoned Energy Management Professional, recognized by customers in the healthcare, municipal government, and education sectors for my approachable style, and the ability to relate well to their concerns/issues. I can boast a proven track record in helping building owners develop and implement energy conservation strategies and integrate sustainability into their business processes, operations and facilities. Previous to founding EPCetera Energy Projects Consulting, I spent a progressive career with Honeywell International, a leading Energy, Environmental and Technical Services firm and led their Canadian Energy Engineering group, guiding the design and development of over $500M in Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) projects. I am a Professional Engineer and hold a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
