I have been working as a Lead Project Co-coordinator/Director for over 20 years. My duties have included developing the “Clients Brief” which may or may have not included feasibility. Preparing drawings and tender documents and obtaining costs by approved and vetted contractors or consultants. I have been responsible for appraising tenders and the appointment of contractors to execute the works in accordance with the detailed design that I have produced. Acting as a Project Manager and Contract Administrator on the client side, chairing project meetings and the like; I have been responsible for the entire project ensuring that budgets and quality is maintained throughout the delivery. I have agreed variations and prepared certificates for valuations under the terms of the contract. I have been directly involved with numerous office moves/relocation particularly for Blue Chip companies employed directly as a consultant and I have designed and Project Managed a flagship Sales & Marketing headquarters in Dublin. Notwithstanding, this I have travelled and worked extensively throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa on various and challenging projects. My experience in the residential area comes from my time with working with Focus Housing Group, now Midland Heart on schemes including residential developments, care homes and the refurbishment of dilapidated properties. I have also worked on schemes for private individuals and small development companies. I have worked on School building programmes where I have successfully negotiated development fees for extensions and renovation works and personally designed bespoke units and buildings for pupil accommodation. Dynamic flexible and able to communicate with personnel at all levels from many different backgrounds has been instrumental to my own personal success and development.
