I prepare and manage planning approvals and biodiversity matters for a coal mine in NSW. This includes the provision of biodiversity and planning approval advice to site, liaison and negotiations with State and Commonwealth Departments, and the management of six ecological offset properties and associated biodiversity management plans. I undertake compliance reporting and various biodiversity policies and procedures. I manage two State development consents and a Commonwealth consent, ensuring that each activity has the appropriate approvals, licences, permits and offset compliance requirements. With a background in environmental impact assessment, environmental management and regulation, I am well placed to understand the approvals process, plan, manage and negotiate environmental offsets, undertake environmental management and prepare compliance documentation. Through my experience, I have the relevant knowledge to be able to minimise impacts and progress sustainable developments. This includes the preparation of management plans and compliance documentation, financial management, liaison activities and internal permit reviews.
