In FY20 CTVHCS logged over 1.3 million outpatient visits and 8,700 admissions for approximately 110,000 unique Veteran patients. CTVHCS is a Joint Commission accredited, complexity level 1-A facility serving Veterans in 39 Central Texas counties. CTVHCS is comprised of 2 major VAMCs in Temple and Waco, a large outpatient clinic in Austin, and 5 community-based outpatient clinics located in Brownwood, College Station, Cedar Park, LaGrange, and Palestine, plus a Clinic Annex in Temple and a Joint VA/DoD Sleep Center in Killeen.

WTVAHCS, a Joint Commission accredited, complexity level three facility serves Veterans across two States including highly rural areas via outpatient clinics in Abilene, San Angelo, and Texas; Hobbs, New Mexico. Outreach clinics are in Stamford and Fort Stockton, Texas. o The facility and its four Community Based Outpatient Clinics support approximately 17,000 unique patients annually; more than 160,000 outpatient visits per year. WTVAHCS is dedicated to a personalized, proactive, and patient driven Veteran care program. o The main facility is located in Big Spring, Texas and services a highly rural area. As a result, clinical video service have expanded to include TelePain, TeleNeurology and TeleAudiology. All CBOC clinics have Occupational Health available daily. Video to Home has been implemented in clinics with Operation Enduring Freedom (OED), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Operation New Dawn (OND), Women Veterans, and Mental Health. Emphasis on telehealth technology assures patient access throughout this region. A 40-bed domiciliary opened in July 2011.
