Electronically biased with a mechanicaly adept background and real world experience in Automotive engineering, Low earth orbit Spacecraft and High altitude Pseudo Satellite technologies. Overcoming what others perceive as 'blockers'. I embrace picking up the tools and creating a real world test- getting the job done . Build a prototype, test it, embrace failure, learn, and move on. My career began at Jaguar Land Rover, where I spent a decade refining my diagnostic expertise and became the UK’s youngest dual-brand Master Technician aged 27. I progressed to an engineering role as as a Diagnostic and Electrical Systems Engineer at McLaren Automotive LTD. It is here I supported the build of world-class supercars such as the famous P1, 540, 570S, 675, 675LT, and 720S. Seeking progression and exposure to a new industry, I transitioned to Airbus Defence and Space as an Avionics engineer, contributing to the Zephyr HAPS project—a solar-powered, stratospheric UAV that literally broke world records for longest unfuelled flights and redefined sustainable aerospace innovation. My work spanned system design, integration, and testing on a unique platform with huge payload potential. Soon after, I became part of In-Space Missions Ltd (BAE Digital Intelligence) , where I lead the design, build and test of their first software based EGSE, and then a full flat-sat test environment, streamlining the development of the Azalea cluster platform. Having experienced the world of Low Earth Orbit medium and 'Cube Sats', I have since returned to the Pseudo Satellite industry, in more of a systems domain where I continue to enhance grow and mature my skillset.
Production and manufacturing focused in streamlining test and build process
Improving and optimising an already proven, capable and class leading stratospheric Avionics system. Delivering new payload opportunities and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
