Senior Project Manager and Software Developer
Team member working on a safety critical system for the railroad called Positive Train Control (PTC). Designed to prevent collisions, derailments, reduce human error and more, PTC is the next step to enhance overall safety for trains. It's a large scale project that requires interoperability between railroads. Software engineer working on back office systems as a contractor through TEK Systems. -Decomposed Cache routines -Defined process for correlating received trade information to actual transactions, where previously none existed -Mentored and worked with new hires -Updated a SOAP service to Java 8, improving coverage and code quality along the way
