Experienced project manager, research and development engineer with a demonstrated history of working on electric machines in the renewables and automotive sector. Strong engineering professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in Magneto-Mechanical Coupling in direct-drive wind turbine generators.
I am responsible for the customer relationship management as well as project management for all European customers including Sentient's largest customer. Working together with GM Wind and the VP of Customer relations, I develop Sentient Science's strategic business plan, negotiate customer and supplier contracts and write sales proposals and quotes, and develop project plans. I am involved in the product development of Sentient Science's Digital Clone for O&M platform and lead the efforts of extending the platform to include structural component models. As product owner I work closely together with the data analysts, the dev team as well as the CTO.
Working in the design team of Leitwind, I was responsible for structural design and assessment as well as all vibration-related questions including the bearing monitoring system and magnetic induced vibrations in the drive train. Using my knowledge from my PhD, I introduced mechanical dynamics and vibration assessments into the design process within Leitwind, leading vibration and noise measurements as well as building up simulation capabilities. This resulted in more robust and quieter turbines. For the new 250 kW turbine, I was accountable for the structural design of all nacelle components accompanying the design process from the very first draft designs to the certification of the finished components.
For a large Chinese wind OEM, I solved a multi physical dynamics problem in the drive train of one of their turbine technologies using flexible multibody dynamic simulation and magnetic field simulations. The work identified the source of the non-linear vibration and produced a resolution
