About

For many years, I was engaged as a senior executive and member of supervisory boards in the international consumer goods industry. As an entrepreneurial generalist, I supported demanding transformation projects at globally represented premium brands. This was primarily done in the context of C-Level interim management for renowned family businesses. I gained my professional expertise during my years as a consultant at Arthur Andersen & Co. and as an entrepreneur in the sports and lifestyle sector. From numerous interesting restructuring engagements I bring extensive implementation experiences. Furthermore, I served on advisory and supervisory boards and was active in a voluntary capacity as a representative of leading European trade + research associations in the textile and fashion industry. Currently, as Managing Partner of the consulting boutique ANTEVORTE, which I founded in 2009, I primarily focus on transformation projects in medium-sized, family-owned businesses.

The consulting boutique ANTEVORTE was founded in 2009 by Michael Kamm together with Jürgen Groth in Munich and specializes in the performance optimization of medium-sized brand companies. Our core business is advising entrepreneurs and decision-makers in internationally active structures, with a focus on performance management and transformation. In contrast to traditional consulting firms, we also take on the operational implementation of the performance and transformation programs we develop for clients or offer support for existing programs. Depending on the client's situation, we provide integrated, implementation-strong teams or complete existing client teams. The goal is to achieve sustainable increases in profits or to implement programs for restructuring and transformation in brand companies. This usually takes place as part of the assumption of operational interim management at executive level. In addition, the ANTEVORTE partners also take on the roles of controlling supervisory board and/or advisory board. We are currently four partners based in Munich-Schwabing and specialize primarily in consumer goods.

The CBR Fashion Group, based in Isernhagen near Hanover, is a fashion company known for its brands Street One, Cecil and Street One Men. The company operates in the European market and supplies around 8,200 sales outlets in 19 countries. Detlev Meyer and Friedhelm Behn built up the company in 1980. In 2004, Meyer and Behn sold CBR Holding GmbH, with around 1,000 textile shops and 600 million in sales, to the financial investors Cinven and Apax, who then sold it to the Swedish EQT in April 2007. During the transition phase from the Swedish investor EQT to the British investor Alteri, I managed the CBR Fashion Group as interim CEO. In addition to a due diligence project and refinancing as part of a successful bond placement, it was possible to achieve a high level of profitability that was unusual for the industry. The DOB Fast Fashion Group, which is represented throughout Europe, achieved this through international procurement and an extremely optimized supply chain structure. Successful provider in the women's outerwear segment with the brands STREET ONE and CECIL | One of the top 5 providers in the women's outerwear sector I Very successful exit with sale of the company to the new British owner ALTERI
