Michael moved to Miami Beach 1989, where he earned his Associates Degree in Video Production and immediately went to work as a freelance production assistant, working on various shows for HBO and Showtime and recreations for Americas Most Wanted. Then Began a position with Post Edge now Manhattan Transfer as an Assistant Engineer, Designing and Building a state of the art studio for MTV Latino. Michael became highly involved in the design, layout and wiring for the launch of Discovery Latin America, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, & Argentina. Michael’s interest in the post production field became one of a passion so he decided to leave Post Edge to join Zimmerman & Partners, an Omnicom company and one of the largest Advertising Agencies in South Florida now worldwide. He was hired to design, build and maintain their post production facility. In less than a year of being employed there Michael was promoted to Director of Video Services where he oversaw all phases of video production, from producing, to budgeting and coordinating all video and film shoots After spending 4 years with the agency Mike decided to take an opportunity with Playboy TV International as Director of Network Operations. His challenges included launching a Television Network in a foreign territory to managing it daily. He oversaw the programming and scheduling and branding process for each channel in each territory. Michael has also been appointed Broadcast Services Manager for the Miami Heat NBA Basketball Franchise, and oversaw set-up and teardown of all events as well as all feeds of live events from the American Airlines Arena, such as the Latin Grammy Awards and MTV Music Awards.
