Leading a global team comprised of 35-associates and a spend of ~$4-billion for PepsiCo, encompassing both food and beverage packaging needs. Direct responsibility for the procurement of PepsiCo direct packaging and secondary packaging for Frito-Lay and Quaker Brands (globally), as well as beverage labels, shrink & stretch film, and liquid cartons. This includes all negotiations that impact total cost of ownership (TCO), logistics, delivery, commodity inflation management, and co-developing sustainability tools with supplier partners.
Responsible for strategy development and supply resiliency for Packaging, Seasoning, and Innovation for PepsiCo Foods North America (Frito-Lay and Quaker). Leading a team of ~20 associates committed to building strong supplier partners through transparent communication of expectations and accountability. The goal being to support the organization in delivering superior products to consumers across North America.
Here, I successfully perform as a key executive creating and leading the procurement strategy and digital roadmap for the $65B global Food & Beverage company encompassing 23 brands that generate ~$1B each in annual retail sales. I spearhead digital transformations, across the Global Procurement organization, aligned with the enterprise mission, vision, and objectives. Launched the inaugural Diversity and Engagement organization, within Global Procurement in 2020 comprising ~350 US-Based team members. Created a D&E Council to advance the PepsiCo Racial Equality Journey providing training opportunities for associates to discuss the role of bias in hiring practices and develop skills in mentoring and progressing the careers of associates regardless of ethnicity or gender. Oversees the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and bots to create the strategic sourcing strategy, empower visibility to spend, monitor sustainability metrics, and track supplier performance for $30B+ in procurement spend. Leverages data to drive decisions, growth, and efficiency through strategic partnership with the information technology organization.
