Michael Henle

Senior Buyer/Analyst at Christensen Farms

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

About

I have experience with creating long and short term forecasts for both well established and low running product lines. I have experience in new product launches as well as specific part transitions. Conversely, I have managed the supply chain aspect of obsoleting product lines and parts, minimizing excess inventory as a product goes end of life, and managing the signals to suppliers as parts are transitioned. I understand how changes in forecast can impact suppliers and the challenge of working with them to identify part issues. I have worked in conjunction with many areas of the business including marketing, sales, production, and the supply chain and have a good understanding of the challenges each of these departments face. I seek to constantly reduce waste, bring in innovative ideas to the forefront, and look for creative solutions to issues. Specialties: Forecasting knowledge, product transitions, Oracle software experience, creating lead time improvements, e-sourcing techniques, negotiating, invoice discrepancy resolution and process improvement plans.
