Ball State Alumni with a bachelors in urban planning and development. I enjoy developing plans and strategies for the betterment of urban areas. I want to work to improve the quality of life for residents by addressing issues related to transportation, housing, public spaces, and environmental sustainability.
● Communicate effectively with Intend staff, partners, and clients through incoming calls, emails, and all other media. ● Assist with land bank initiatives. ● Coordinate and assist in meetings with interested clients to discuss the application process. ● Coordinate and track property management contracts for all Intend Indiana, Inc. properties, including but not limited to mowing, trash/debris, removal, and security. ● Utilize project management and Client Relationship Management (CRM) software to fully ensure Intend Indiana, Inc. staff remain up to date on the status of all properties and data. ● Collect and maintain program files to ensure regulatory and grant compliance, and document transactions for the annual financial audit. ● Develop and maintain relationships with contractors involved in real estate development activities to ensure contract fulfillment and timely completion of projects. ● Assist with marketing and advertising efforts for all Intend programs and initiatives. ● Receive, review, and process documents (invoices, etc.). ● Meet with neighborhood organizations with the aim of fostering strong open relationships. ● Communicate with clients and partners, via phone, email, and in-person as needed regarding Intend programs and initiatives. ● Engage and assist with partner initiatives as needed. ● Maintain and update data as required for reporting and fundraising efforts. ● Assist with grant writing by researching, writing, and assisting with the coordination of grant application processes. ● Assist in the preparation and submission of program claims. ● Assist with the review of work progress for compliance with the scope and schedule. ● Assist with other duties as assigned.
As founder of the DEI chair in the fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta and I am to inform, educate, and inspire members of the fraternity every week. My goal is to promote the fair treatment and full participation of all persons, with a focus on underrepresented or historically discriminated-against groups based on identity or handicap.
I was able to gain significant work experience throughout my undergraduate years thanks to American Structurepoint's internship program, which is a fantastic program that benefits both parties. I closely collaborated with the urban planning team to conduct research, compile data, and create planning documents. Furthermore, I was given the chance to participate in state-wide public engagement initiatives. I developed excellent writing skills and a good understanding of graphic communication. Familiarity with spatial data collection such as ArcGis and researching credible sources. In addition, improve my ability to think critically and creatively, adapt to changing situations and schedules, and work well independently or as part of a collaborative team.
